Motto Perpetuo concert

Hola a todos. Anoche asistí al concierto en Barcelona del grupo Motto Perpetuo. Una de las mejores bandas de Heavy de la ciudad. 

La foto de directo es una disciplina bastante compleja ya que se la iluminación es cambiante.

Yo opte por escoger 3 objetivos para cubrir este evento. Canon 24-105 f4, Canon 50mm f1.4 y el Canon 20mm f2.8. Porque? el 24-105 por su calidad y por tener una focal variable y los otros dos por su calidad y luminosidad.

básicamente lo que hice al llegar a la sala fue mirar donde estaba situado el escenario y ver por donde me podía mover para sacar las mejores tomas. La sala era pequeña. Escogí un ISO 1250 que con la Canon 5D MII genera poco grano y ajuste la velocidad al mínimo para que no saliesen las fotos movidas. La apertura la fui variando según el momento.

Otro factor a tener en cuenta es el enfoque. En muchas ocasiones tuve que utilizar el enfoque manual ya que la luz era pobre y la cámara tardaba mucho en enfocar. el 70% de las tomas están hechas con el enfoque manual.

Para la iluminación opte por el Canon 430 a mínima potencia y rebotado al techo. Es muy importante saber cuando es necesario utilizar flash. Yo siempre valoro la luz frontal del escenario. Si veo que es pobre opto por utilizar el flash, a no ser que quiera algún contraluz o alguna foto diferente.

Hi all. Last night I attended the concert in Barcelona Motto Perpetual Group. One of the best Heavy bands of the city. The room lighting was not very good. The live picture is a discipline that is quite complex and the lighting is changing. I choose to choose 3 goals to cover this event. Canon 24-105 f4, 50mm f1.4 Canon 20mm f2.8 and Canon. Why? the 24-105 for its quality and having a variable focal length and the other two for their quality and brightness. basically what I did to get to the room where it was located was watching the scene and see where I could move to take the best shots. The room was small. I chose an ISO 1250 with the Canon 5D MII produces little grain and set the minimum speed to avoid blur to depart. The opening was varied with the times. Another factor to consider is the focus. On many occasions I had to use manual focus because the light was poor and the camera took too long to focus. 70% of the shots are made with manual focus. For lighting opt for the Canon 430 at minimum power and bounced to the ceiling. It is very important to know when you need to use flash. I always appreciate the front of the stage light. If I see is poor choose to use flash, unless you want a backlight or a different photo. You have some examples of the results. Thank you very much.
